Oscar Joyce is enjoying a full suite of media services, including Public Relations, digital management and sponsorship activation, to promote his racing and Apex Doodles, which has merged the worlds of street art and motorsport in a unique and creative charity project.
London-based racer Oscar Joyce “caught the racing bug” in 2018 when he joined Premium Karting to take on a multi-pronged campaign in the LGM and British Kart Championships, as well as events in Europe.
The “professional doodler” stepped into car racing in the 2023 Radical Cup UK’s SR1 division, before graduating to a more powerful SR3 XXR for what will be a unique, trailblazing 2024 programme.
Graffiti artists Solo One, OG Mear and D_a_n_e_ism have live artworked Oscar’s DW Racing-prepared Radical sportscar for the 2024 Radical Cup UK, which runs in tandem with the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
The objective is to create the most photographed car in UK motorsport as Apex Doodles launches into its second season of competition.
However, the graffiti artists are also combining with Apex Doodles to create a unique selection of Arai race helmets, which will be displayed and raffled trackside and online to raise money for local charities associated with the painters, including Stockwell Hall of Fame and Dwaynamics ABC.
