RLR MSport will proudly field a brand new Ligier JS P325 for Michael Jensen, Nick Adcock and Gillian Henrion, forming a Champion team-driver combination that will maximise its chances of defending its European Le Mans Series crown in 2025.

Denmark’s Jensen raced LMP3 machinery in Europe and Asia after competing against teammate and friend Adcock in South Africa, two formative years in the Michelin Le Mans Cup preceding a podium-yielding 2022 ELMS campaign with RLR MSport.

However, all of his previous achievements were well and truly eclipsed by a landmark 2024 season, when he, Adcock and Franco-Malagasy driver Gael Julien amassed one race victory and two podiums to emerge from a close-run title battle as ELMS LMP3 Champions.

Jensen went on to race LMP2 machinery over the course of a successful 2024-25 Asian Le Mans Series programme but, keen to defend his LMP3 Champion status, is back with RLR MSport for the new ELMS season.

The introduction of third-generation LMP3 prototypes with their twin-turbo V6 powerplants is a significant evolution that is sure to shake things up as teams get to grips with their new machinery.

However, Jensen is certain RLR MSport will engineer a fast and reliable Ligier JS P325, giving him, Adcock and new teammate Henrion the best chance of securing back-to-back titles in 2025.

“I am really looking forward to another season of competition in the European Le Mans Series with RLR MSport and its dedicated engineers and mechanics,” said Jensen. “We’re back to defend our 2024 LMP3 Teams and Drivers Trophies, building on the consistency we had last year to hopefully be at the top of the championship standings after the final race in Portimao. Nick (Adcock) and Gillian (Henrion) are both quick and dependable drivers, and we know RLR MSport will provide a fast and reliable car. We have all the ingredients for another very successful season.”

Adcock, meanwhile, took the decision to step away from international motorsport in 2021, but RLR MSport tempted him back to the ELMS the following year, and he then reunited with the British team for what turned out to be a career-defining title-winning 2024 season.

RLR MSport and Adcock rode the crest of a wave into the 2024-25 Asian Le Mans Series and drove into championship contention by winning consecutive races at Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Circuit.

Understandably buoyed by these recent successes, 59-year-old Adcock has committed to yet another ELMS season with RLR MSport, and his sole objective is to defend the LMP3 Teams and Drivers crowns he and close friend Jensen worked so hard to win last year.

“After such an incredible 2024 season, I have asked myself why I am returning to the European Le Mans Series,” said Adcock. “We had such a fantastic and enjoyable experience with RLR MSport last year, as the team gelled incredibly well. The paddock is always extremely competitive, I love the circuits the ELMS visits and the racing, so I decided to return for one more season to defend our LMP3 Teams and Drivers Trophies. I’m looking forward to working with my great friend Michael (Jensen) and Gillian (Henrion), who is a very exciting young talent. We will see if we can ‘do the double’, successfully defending our title in 2025.”

A welcome addition to the RLR MSport stable is 21-year-old Henrion, who won karting titles and Formula 4 races in his native France before switching to sportscar racing in 2022.

He made an immediate impact by taking the Ligier European Series JS P4 crown with 11 victories from 12 starts and following that up with a championship-winning Michelin Le Mans Cup campaign in 2023.

The Toul, France-based racer was rewarded with an LMP3 drive in the 2024 ELMS and challenged for the title, which was ultimately won by RLR MSport in a tense battle that went down to the wire in Portimao.

However, Henrion has now joined the squad that denied him a third major endurance racing title in a row, completing a Champion team-driver combination with the clear intention of winning the 2025 ELMS LMP3 Teams and Drivers Trophies.

“I’m very happy to be joining RLR MSport, as it’s a prestigious team that had an incredible season in 2024, winning the LMP3 championship,” said Henrion. “I’m excited to contribute and it’s a great feeling to be back racing in the European Le Mans Series again. It’s a highly competitive championship and that is very important to me.

“My goal is to give my best at every race and to work hard with the entire team so we’re in a position to fight for another title. I want to thank RLR MSport, Michael (Jensen) and Nick (Adcock) for their trust. They achieved great things last season and I hope to build on that momentum. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel and kick off this new adventure in Barcelona!”

RLR MSport Team Manager, Lindsey Reynolds, said: “We’re entering the 2025 European Le Mans Series as reigning LMP3 Teams and Drivers Champions, recognising that repeating the kind of success we had last year is going to be challenging. It was an incredible season, and the title win is testament to the amount of skill and effort each individual team member injected into the campaign.

“We will take the same approach and, although the competition will be as tough as ever and it would be foolish to underestimate our rivals, we’re as confident as we can be with our driver line-up. Michael (Jensen) and Nick (Adcock) are a proven partnership and they’re only getting stronger, and we’re delighted to welcome Gillian (Henrion). He’s a massive talent who made a huge impression while competing against us in the Ligier European Series and ELMS. We have everything we need to succeed in 2025.”
