Pioneer79 Swimming Club: ASA annual membership renewal and training fee reduction
25 January 2021 | adminleveridge
Pioneer79 Swimming Club reminds members to renew their ASA annual memberships before 28 February.
With your support, Pioneer79 survived a difficult year in 2020, and we hope you will choose to stay with us and continue your swimming journey in 2021.
All swim training ceased after the UK government imposed Tier 4 restrictions on Lancashire, before the entire country was placed in a third national lockdown as the number of COVID-19 cases continued rising.
However, now is the time to renew your £50 ASA annual membership, and we are also reminding members to adjust standing orders to reflect the recent 50 per cent fee reduction for Pioneer79’s Gold, Silver and Bronze competitive programmes.
If you wish to continue paying your full fee, that would be greatly appreciated – payments are optional for our Learn to Swim participants – because not only does your Pioneer79 membership you support Swim England, but you also guarantee that your club and coaches are insured for all activities.
We are looking forward to a return to regular training and competitions for all of you, once again providing opportunities to challenge yourselves against clubs locally and nationally and take part in Swim England’s Level X Racing programme within our club sessions.
For now, we will continue running our online Zoom training plans, enabling our swimmers to not only train, but socialise and stay motivated, and to give them structure until swimming resumes.
Thank you in advance from myself as Pioneer79’s Director of Swimming, but also on behalf of our coaches, teachers, lifeguards, committee members and trustees, for your continued support.
