Pioneer79 Swimming Club is very much looking forward to returning to the water once the UK emerges from its second national lockdown later this week.
We recently restructured our Performance, Gold, Silver and Bronze Training Groups in a way that streamlines our pool usage and enables us to make best use of the space we have.
It’s a very positive development for the club as a whole, but particularly for our swimmers, who will continue receiving consistent, high-quality coaching at workable times in busier, more vibrant pool environments.
Similarly, there has been a bit of a reshuffle in Pioneer79’s coaching team, and I would like to express gratitude to coaches Katy, Georgia, Caitlin and Kara for their hard work and commitment.
We can now confirm that Kara will lead our Bronze sessions and play a supporting role to our Gold and Silver coaches, and we’re confident this decision will boost the club and Kara’s own development.
All eyes are on the future and hopes of a successful year in 2021 are high with all that’s happening within the club.
